11/22/10

Finally, we get another blog topic of our choice. I know you all have been complaining about why I haven't been wirting about random things andit is not my fault. I am truly sorry. It is my teachers fault. If you would like to contact him about the situation you can email the man. You can find his email address on the Volusia County Schools website. So that is why I have been writing about things in our text book that you guys don't even know about. I know that you guys go on here wanting to read all the lastest news and gossip at Pine Ridge but then you get on and you see that that it is about photoshop, and I'm quoting pages and you guys don't see what I am talking about. Trust me, I know how mad you can get and I really do try to make it the best it can be and my usual blog, but to be totally honest with you guys, it is not that easy. I try talking to the big man and he just says some vulgar things to me and then beats me. Then I try and tell him that I am going to tell TR and he acts as if TR means nothing to him. So I am in a pickle. I need help with that. He does all that because I tell him that the blog topics are stupid and we need to be able to write about whatever we want. So please, feel free to email me with you advice on what I should do. Because you guys are the ones that keep this blog up and running and without you guys I would probably be just out on the street doing hardcore drugs or something. So I thank you guys for that.

Now, this week we only go to school for two days. We are here for Monday and Tuesday and then we have the rest of the week off for Thanksgiving. I love that day. It is my second favorite holiday. As we all know, Christmas is my favorite mostly because my birthday is the day before. But anyway. For some odd reason, I am really looking forward to Thanksgiving this year and no matter how hard I seach deep inside my soul, I just cant find the reason that I feel this way. I have been getting more and more excited every year for the holiday. I think it is because I am getting older? I honestly don't know. If I did know, I would tell you guys but I don't know. I mean, you are the ones that keep me going. Without you guys, I would probably be on the streets doing hardcore drugs. I am so thankful for you guys and please keep reading and sending me emails on what you think or just a little "thinking of you email." If you think you know why I am feeling this way about Thanksgiving every year, go ahead and hit up my email and I will get back to you. Or you guys can just tweet me and I'll let you know about everything.

So, this weekend was pretty good. I made that gwap Friday night. Only I haven't got paid yet but hopefully that comes soon. Friday was a pretty good night at work. I worked hard and I am going to have to say, I am the glue that keeps that plave together. I am the second hardest worker there and they all know that. Then Saturday, I was to Islands of Adventure with my good friend Sean Doran. My good friend Justin Slaven was invited but he was gardening or something like that so I don't know what his problem was. I like called him and I asked if he wanted to come. He was like I would but I'm in the mood for gardening. I was shocked. "Why is he gardening?" I asked myself. Oh, well, his loss. He could have been riding Cat in the Hat with us but NO, he was gardening. Crazy stuff I know. Some friend he is. He chooses gardening over me. But that is what I have you guys for. Without you guys I would probably be on the streets doing hardcore drugs. You are the ones that keep this blog going and without you guys, I dont know where I would be. I love you guys and couldn't have done this all without you.

So basically, I got a lot of comments from my readers about the controversial topic of my favorite action figure. As you know, I wrote that I prefer blow up dolls. I just want you all to know that I did not intend for the people reading the answer to that question think that I was doing inappropriate things with the blow up dolls. Most of you thought that is what I was going for but that was not. I give you my sincere apology to everyone that thought those dirty thoughts. Even though it is partially your fault for having your mind go in that directions. But for this time, and this time only, I will take full responsibility for my actions. I should have made it clearer and easier for you people to pick out what I meant. I hope that you all understand and accept my apology even though you guys owe me and apology also for thinking that I would write about an R-rated subject in a G-rated area. Come on guys, you know me better than that. But like I said, I am taking full responsibility for this one and I hope you all understand.

Moving on to bigger better things, I am happy to announce that I had a great weekend. Just all in all it was great. The weekend started off with a bang Friday night when I went to work and made what gwap. It was a long night and I sort of had contact problems for the second week in a row, but I made it through the night and did my job. But Friday was the best day of the weekend considering the fact that the New York Yankees lost to the Texas Rangers which therefore eliminated the Yankees from the playoffs and sent the Rangers to the World Series. The next day was Saturday. That was also a pretty good day. It was incomparable to Friday considering the Yankees lose, but it was a great day. I went to Cracker Barrel for lunch and that was outstanding. I enjoyed it a lot. But that was the second time I was there in 2 weeks, so I think I’m going to take some time off from there. Sunday was also a very good day. It was football day and the Patriots won. Now they are pretty much the best team in the NFL.

Today, I have went through the whole day with one contact and let me tell you, it was pretty rough. I am going around closing my left eye so that I can see and people are looking at me like I am some retard. I don’t like when people look at me like I am some retard. It makes me feel bad about myself. The bad news is that my contacts won’t be in until next week which means I am going to be like this for a week. Hopefully I can make it through. It is going to be tough but I think that I can do it. If not, I just might have to drop out of school and wind up working at the post office. That is something that no one wants to do in their lifetime. Such a boring job. But anyway, the contact situation is pretty bad. Just now while writing this blog, one eye has been closed the whole time and I can barely see. Everyone that sits in the row in front of me is like, “what is this kid doing?’ But it will all get better soon.

Thank you!

Basically, this weekend I saw Jackass 3D in theaters. What an outstanding movie. In my opinion, it has to be one the best movies I have ever saw in my entire life. It was way better than Jackass 1 or Jackass 2. it was very inappropriate and I almost threw up at some points. So basically, I recommend this movie for everyone, Even for Alves's 9 year old son. Alves says,"he doesn't know what that it. He is 9." But if you watch TV and see previews for the movie than you are going to see it and want to see it. Alves was supposed to take us but he was being a mega loser and wouldn't. I asked him to take me to the midnight showing and he was being a super duper lame-o about it so I just waited til Saturday. And it was very much worth the wait. I would tell some parts of the movie on here but if I did I would probably be ban from blogger and expelled from school. So go see it for yourself.

Sunday was a good day. It was football day. The Patriots played the Ravens and what a game that was. It marked the return of a former Superbowl MVP in Deion Branch back to New England. What a game he had. That game could have been the longest game that I have ever watched in my life. The Pats won in overtime 23-20 but were losing the whole game and at one point it looked like they had no chance of coming back. But somehow their defense stepped it up and the offense picked it up and they ended up winning. I was in shock to tell you the truth. It was great though and I would have been very mad if they would have lost considering it would have put the Jets back in first place by a game. We wouldn't have that problem if they didn't beat us in week 2. Jets suck anyway so it doesn't matter.

Nothing else really to report. So now I will be answering some fan mail that I have recieved over the months:

Q: Is Aaron Alves really your favorite teacher?
A: You know, he is a great guy and everything. But sometimes he can be a little boring and ticked off. So saying that, he isn't my favorite teacher. Maybe if he was a little more perky, than he might make the cut. But he is a close second.

Q; What is your favorite action figure?
A: I don't really have a favorite action figure per say. But the one thing that I do like are blow up dolls. They are just outstanding. It is like they take the place of a real person and they keep you company. Say that you are just at home alone. Take the old blow up doll out of the closet and talk to it like it is you closest friend. They are a great way to not feel like a loner.

Q: Who is your role model?
A: This is a tough one. There are just so many people that I look up to and I just don't know. But if I had to pick one than I suppose I would pick Lawrence Taylor. When you look at him you know he is a good guy and that is what I want people to think about me.

So there you go. There is some fan mail questions. Thank you and keep send them. I love you guys.

The article is about Randy Moss and his contract situation. Apprantley he is not happy and he loves playing in New England. He wants to stay in New England and play for the Patriots. He doesn't like that the Patriots are dealing with everyone else and then being left out to dry. His statements are probably on account that he did not have a touchdown and barely got the ball thrown to him on Sunday.

I chose this article because I am a Patriots fan and Randy Moss is one of my favorite players and I really hope that we keep him. He is in the last year of his contract and if he wants a job for next year, he is going to have to put up some big numbers and keep his mouth shut. I understand that he is fustrated because he is doing the best with the Patriots that he has ever done with the Radiers or Vikings but I am sure that if he puts up good numbers he will get resigned and all will be well.

I am sure that this will be interesting to others considering that fact that Randy Moss has had three really good seasons with the Patriots and any other team in the NFL would like his services. He also had a history of not keeping his mouth shut and once he signed with the Pats, he has not been talking. This is really the first incident the Patriots and Moss have had and if they don't fix that, then they could have some serious problems.

The article that I have chosen is about Tom Brady's contract dispute. It has been reported that the Patriots and the three time Super Bowl winning quaterback have agreed in principle on a new contract that is a three year, $58 million dollar deal. It is now being reported that there has been no deal agreed to but the two sides are moving along and are on much better terms than they were at the beginning of training camp. If the three year, $58 milion dollar deal is in fact the real deal, Brady will make 19.3 million a year beating the 16.3 million a year (which is the current highest mark a year) which is set by Brady's rival in Peyton Manning. But it is well known around the NFL and fans that Manning is also in the last year of his contract which means that the Colts are probably in talks about big money with him. Even though he has only won one Super Bowl and Tom Brady has won 3 Super Bowls. Even though Peyton has 4 MVP's, it is championships that count.

I chose this article because I am a fan of Tom Brady and the Patriots. I would be devestated if the Pats did not sign him and he went off to another team like the Jets, Bengals, or even the Buffalo Bills. It would be the worst thing that I could ever imagine and I would not watch football again.

This will probably be interesting to fans of the NFL and of the New England Patriots. So, unless who love the NFL or the New England Patriots or you are a fan of the best quaterback to ever play the game of football, this will probably not interest you.

There is not anything that I can think of that others should know/learn about from this article. It is just something about a quaterbacks contract talks and what the money and amount of years that will be in the contract.

Preformance enhancing drugs in my opinion are one of the worst things you could possibly do in any sport. Weather it is football, baseball, or even bowling, I think that taking drugs to help your preformance is digusting. Are you really that unsure of your talents that you have to take a drug to make yourself do better? If you made it to the top then you must be good enough to stay there or whoever you play for wouldn't want to do anything with you. I think that there should only be one shot. If you get caught with it once, you are done. Well, that is too harsh, maybe all your stats are erased and you have to start over again weather you were close to breaking a record or not. I just think that it is pathetic.

The article looks at it as if the people should not be looking at if they did preformance enhancing drugs. They see that there are far more worse things that you could do instead of that. Like betting aganist your own team or corking your bat. The author says that we waste too much time figuring out who did what and when they did it. And I agree with that. I see it as if the MLB spends way too long on weather or not someone took the juice and they really have other things to worry about.

In my opinion, I think that the records should be diminshed. For example, recently, A-Rod admitted to using preformance enhancing drugs. In my opinion, all the homeruns, rbi's and every other stat he has should be erased from the years that he says he took PED's. In my opinion it makes sense because at that point and time when he was taking those drugs, he was better than everyone else and it really wasnt fair to everyone else in the league.

This article is about the wonderful doctor James Andrews. He is probably the biggest sports doctor in the country and has done multiple surgeries on some of the top players around the world of sports. One example is Roger Clemens. He has done multiple surgeries on that man and in fact, after Clemens returned, he struck of 20 batters in one game. Andrews has also opened up multiple medical schools with some fellow doctors. Even though some of them did not work out, he has still stayed with it and has become the biggest sports doctor in the world of sports today.

Some of his clients include the wonderful Roger Clemens, Bo Jackson, John Smoltz, Tom Glavine and a whole bunch of others. Most of the ones that he did work on, have wnet back to their respective sport and done what they were used to do. Others infact, have not done that good and had to retire because they have kept having reoccuring injuries that have required surgery. In fact, on one of his patients, he had to do 9 surgeries until he finally go it right.

According to the article, a lot of althletes have went to Andrews. People go to Andrews because they know that he is the best and know that they will be treated right and the way that they should by a doctor. Some of them have went to Andrews for the first time and then have built personal relationships with the man and then have reffered other people to him. In fact, some of them have become such good friends with the guy that they have spent the night at his house. People also go to him because he does whatever it takes for his patients to get better and return to the way that they were before the injury. In one example, some football players got hurt in his hometown on a Friday night. The players, the coach, and the trainers showed up at Andrews house at 11 at night and Andrews took care of them in the middle of his living room. In fact, the ones that needed surgery he let sleep in the guest rooms upstairs til the morning when the surgery would start.

Some of the most famous cases would be the Roger Clemens case. He worked on Clemens shoulder and then when Clemens returned, he struck out 20 Seattle Mariners. Also, another famous case was the Phillip River case. That was when Rivers dove into the end-zone and then had players land on his arm which then led to his shoulder being seperated. Andrews worked on Rivers and now look at him, he is a pro bowl quaterback who consistently leads his team to the playoffs.

August 17, 2010

Alright so this summer was proabably the best summer I've had in a while. I had a really good time this summer for the first time in a while. To start off, I had a bowling tournament for the first week of summer. As a matter of fact it was the state tournament. It is really no big deal it is just the state tournament. Ok, you caught me, it is a big deal and I did really well in it. I have no idea how my team placed but I am pretty sure that we did pretty well. It was in Spring Hill over by Tampa so it was a long ways away. But we almost got lost on the way there and almost eneded up in Disney which to tell you the truth would have been a grand old time. But the best part was that the hotel/motel that the league got for us was really bad and we had a smoking room. Yeah, a smoking room, who knew that they had those. But anyway our room smelt like smoke and the blankets on the bed looked like they had blood stains on them and I almost threw up. My mom called that room service and demanded new stuff and gues what? The ones we got back were still gross and stained. It basically looked like someone got shot in the hotel room. Then the TV went out for like half and hour and we couldn't watch TV. That was the worst part.

So, we came back from the tournament on a Sunday and then that Tuesday of that week we went to New Jersey. That was the best part of the whole summer. We stayed about 15 minutes away from the Jersey Shore and Boardwalk. We went to the Boardwalk multiple times. Then we drove and found the house that the cast of Jersey Shore stays at. What a beautiful sight to see when we got to that house. But we stayed at aa friends house up there and his son and I got along really good. They had a batting cage in the house and I used up like crazy. I hit a lot and i put llke 3 holes in the wall in the back. That is how furious I am when I hit the ball. To make you understand how hard I hit the ball I say it in simpler terms. When I hit, I imagine the ball is Ms. Swints head and I just tear the cover off the ball. We had a great time up there and I wish we were still up there.

Also, this summer I got a Universal annual pass. Now I'm going to have to say that buying that pass had to be the best investment I have ever made in my entire life. I got into the Harry Potter land, drank a butter beer, and when on the ride in the castle that people wait like 3 hours for. I did not wait 3 hours, I waited 45 minutes. I also went on the Rip Ride Rocket roller coaster twice. The first time was great and it was the last ride of the night. Then when I went back 3 weeks later I was wearing a hat and it almost flew off me on the ride. That would have been really bad but thank god I held on to it and it did not fly off my head.

Nothing else really went on this summer. It was a great summer and it went by way too fast. I need like 2 more weeks of summer but there is no way that I can get it now.

Thats it, and til next Monday.....

CONFIDENCE IS A STAIN THAT YOU CANT GET OUT!!!
